Ipads and Iphones have a root level lock.
Beware, if it’s locked you’re not getting it unlocked without the original users Itunes info and password to reset the locked state.
So how do you find out if it’s locked?
Before you buy check out this cool Apple tool.
You’ll need the serial # or the IMEI #.
Then enter (at Apple site) to check if it’s locked or unlocked.
